    Our Ravens experience rich learning opportunities that prepare them to thrive in a globally connected, technologically-intensive world. Students work with the tools and develop the skills necessary for full participation in 21st Century life. Our SHSM in Digital Media and our varied technology-based courses allow students to go deeper with innovation and creativity.

    Learning Through Athletics

    We set the example of the power of sport to develop character, teamwork, and resilience. Our Raven athletes learn to excel by way of a full range of extra-curricular sports teams and Phys Ed courses including our Academy of Sport SHSM options and aquatics. ESS is also proud to be a provider of the Hockey Canada Skills Academy!

    Arts and Inspiration

    Learning in the Arts nurtures expression, increases engagement, and hones emotional intelligence. Our Ravens explore their creativity through a number of Visual Arts courses including Ceramics and Photography, Drama courses, and Music courses. Beyond the classroom, students celebrate the Arts through our Coffee Houses, Improv Team, and much more.

    Culture of Peer Leadership

    At ESS we promote opportunities for students to act as role models, innovators, and leaders. Working in mentoring and coaching roles, our students strengthen their relationships to one another and to our whole school. We foster student leadership inside and beyond the classroom through a variety of academic and extracurricular experiences.
