Presenting a "Moira Minute" featuring Joe Brown talking about our new Indigenous Gathering Space

Moira Secondary School is proud to announce that our technology expertise has now moved us into the radio broadcasting field with the production of a “Moira Minute”.   Our technology department has partnered with Loyalist College to provide the opportunity to create and produce broadcasts on a weekly basis for 91X FM that airs at 4:40 pm and 8:40 pm on Fridays.

This week’s Moira Minute features Joe Brown, one of our Indigenous educational counsellors at the school, talking about our new Indigenous Gathering Space.   This project has developed through the close partnership with our Mohawk community and we are looking forward to the development of new learning to support all students in Indigenous ways of knowing at the school and in the community.   Please click here to listen to the audio file.
